ORIGIN • DO EMPORDÀ •
Made from vineyards aged between 15 and 20 years old located in the northern part of the Alt Empordà region, planted in mineral soils where slate is predominant. Thanks to the unique climate of the Alt Empordà region, the Tramuntana wind carries a large proportion of the rain elsewhere, leading to low outputs that make highly expressive wines.
Cinsaut, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon.
PRODUCTION AND AGING
The small grape with a high concentration characteristic of these vineyards enables the very best to be extracted from the fruit. A short maceration in stainless steel vats followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 15°C.
In terms of appearance, it has a bright red colour with a warm sparkle. On the nose, its powerful aromas of wild, sweet fruit are seductive. On the palate, it is very young and fresh, balanced in terms of acidity and rich in floral and spicy notes.
Ideal for accompanying salads, soups, pastas, pizzas and any creamy dish. Optimal serving temperature 7°C - 9°C.
Alcohol content: 12.5% Vol. – Total acidity: 5.3g/l.
